Course Description: The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Search Procedures Course (PER-339) introduces participants to basic, low risk search protocols. It provides participants the information needed to create a search plan for their facility or special event and allows them to perform IED searches of a facility, an area, and a route.
Course Objectives: The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Search Procedures Course (PER-339) aims to familiarize participants with fundamental, low-risk search protocols. Through this course, participants will acquire the knowledge necessary to develop a comprehensive search plan tailored to their facility or special event. Moreover, they will gain practical experience in conducting IED searches of various areas, including facilities, designated areas, and routes.
Target Audience: Educational Institutions, Federal Government, Industry, Small and Medium Businesses, Faith-Based Community, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Government
